Sorry I have been MIA lately. I promised to get my reviews up and haven’t had much time lately. School, work and the little man have taken up most of my time as well as the whole moving thing. Found a place and start moving this weekend! Hopefully by next weekend my life will be back to normal and I can get my 4 reviews up that I need to do! Hope everyone has a great weekend. I know that I will be getting a lot of exercise! Who needs a gym membership when you can move an entire house?!

Book 8 in the House of Night Series
Do not read if you haven’t read the pervious books as there are spoilers.
After reading the first 7 House of Night books I wasn’t sure that I wanted to continue with the series as I felt that it centered around some kind of love triangle with Zoey. However I was surprised to find that this wasn’t the case at all in Awakened. The Nerd Herd is back and needing Zoey to return to the House of Night more than ever, but she still isn’t ready to face the evil and darkness that is Neferet. Neferet is back at the Tulsa HoN and Dragon… well lets just say that Dragon has a hard choice to make. A tragic event at the Tulsa HoN will leave Zoey with no choice but to return to Tulsa and fight for her friends and do the right thing. I was happy with the decision for Zoey to return to Tulsa but the tragic events that take place are heartbreaking. It was refreshing to see the series take a turn from the love triangle and take more of a focus on the fight with Neferet and Kalona. It was also nice to have some pieces start to come together and have everyone know what is going on with Stevie Rae makes the book progress nicely and leaves me wondering what will happen in the next book.
I have 4 reviews that I need to get up but have been overly busy as of late. I promise to get them done this weekend! I have bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend and Easter with my family but I will get them done! Finals are getting closer at school and I am busy taking photos for my projects and playing with my son(he requires all of his mommys attention when I’m trying to do other things 🙂 and I love every minute of it!)
